Logistics Management
(3+2 Higher Vocational Education Diploma to Bachelor's Degree Program)
Logistics Management is to train high-quality workers and technicians with fine qualities, professional ethics, teamwork awareness and innovative entrepreneurship to meet the needs of modern logistics development. Students are trained to master knowledge and technical skills of logistics management, and to meet the needs of logistics warehousing, distribution and international logistics.
The graduates with this major are expected to serve in manufacturing enterprises, logistics and transport companies, warehousing companies, and marketing, transportation, warehousing, purchasing, commercial affairs, operations, customer service, or cargo tallying in third party logistics businesses. Possible jobs include logistic purchasing and supply, warehouse management, organization and management of distribution, taking orders and scheduling for transportation, information gathering and processing, implementation and operation of logistic projects and programs, customer management. Other vocational prospects concern jobs in international freight forwarding enterprises and international trade companies, involving freight forwarding operations, customs clearance, document operation for international trade, etc.
Culinary Art and Nutrition
(three-year higher vocational education)
As the very first program recruiting foreign students among all higher vocational majors of Tianjin, Culinary Art and Nutrition aims to cultivate expertise, creativity, culinary methods, Chinese cookery including hot and cold dishes, food carving, and pastry. Graduates are trained to be high-quality professionals serving in star-level hotels, food and beverage businesses, resorts, clubs, and food raw material companies.
Tourism Management
(3+2 Higher Vocational Education Diploma to Bachelor's Degree Program)
Tourism management is a key program with the development of tourism economy and tourism industry. The program aims to cultivate talent with thus it well meets the needs of tourism enterprises. Graduates are expected to possess professional knowledge of tourism management, good moralities and comprehensive qualities, and have strong comprehensive professional skills and foundations. They are capable of working for tourism administrations and tourism businesses.
Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology
(three-year higher vocational education)
The program aims to cultivate interdisciplinary technical and skilled talents that can adapt to the needs of the development of international refrigeration and air conditioning industry, have good team spirit, innovation and entrepreneurship, master the knowledge of working principle, structure and performance of common refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems, and are engaged in the production and manufacturing, equipment marketing, installation and debugging and operation management in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning.
Qualifications
1. high school diploma or above, good health, willing to abide by Chinese laws and TMC’s regulations
2. between 18 and 30 years old
3. possessing independent living and studying abilities, good self-discipline and interpersonal skills
4. priority given to those who are able to communicate and study in English language
5. priority given to those who are able to communicate and study in Chinese language, HSK level 3 and above preferred
Diploma Granted and Terms
higher vocational education diploma
3 academic years, 2 terms per academic year, one winter and one summer vacation each academic year
Application and Admission
1.deadline for application: May 31st
2.Reporting and enrollment days: September 9thto 15th
3.Admission: the admitted international students will receive the original Letter of Admission of Tianjin Maritime College and the original visa application form of foreign students for study in China (JW202 form).
4.With the Letter of Admission, JW202 form, and physical examination record of foreigners, students apply for X1 visa at the Chinese embassy.
