TMC signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Tashkent State Transport University to build Luban Workshop in Uzbekistan, with the strong support of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, as well as the active help of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce for Chinese Entrepreneurs. The move aimed to thoroughly put into practice the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on building Luban Workshops in SCO countries, implement the results of the second meeting of China + Central Asia (C+C5) foreign ministers meeting, and share Tianjin's excellent vocational education achievements with Central Asian countries. TMC followed the principle of "five-in-place", which means to complete site construction, equipment procurement, major establishment, teaching materials and resources preparation, and teacher training, to improve the training of talent in modern logistics management and IT in Uzbekistan on all fronts. It actively serves economic and social development in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. Leveraging Chinese enterprises' participation in the building of Luban Workshop, TMC will promote the employment of Uzbek students.
